consider this the transition from a faux third person review to the first person description.

born with a different surname, Rendineo stands for something greater for my wife and I. she draws inspiration predominately from her greek lineage, I most resonate with my lebanese background, and we share french. pulling the words for "renew" from each of these land's dialects, we combined them to form the new name that represents us.

renouve + tajdid + ananeo = Rendineo

it is a constant reminder that we seek not only to renew ourselves and break the chains of trauma that have been passed down across millennia of generations, but to also seek a renewal of the individual and society. this goes one step beyond a revolution: revolutions entail coming full circle, or going back to the start. think "the scientist" by coldplay. a renewal, juxtapositionally, is picking up what has been started. through the centuries, there have been thousands of people fighting for increased freedom and equality. a society without hierarchies or necessitated classes. a society where individuals are emboldened to be the strongest and best versions of themselves. this is no utopia where all work is automated and laziness reins supreme or decisions are made by only the most accredited, but a framework where all are involved democratically and are living lives of purpose.

this is why I write and this is why I fight. may we pickup where those before us dared tread and carry the torch the rest of the way.
